New features in the editinfo section.

There are a few new features under the user editinfo page.

  • Notify Weblogs.com of updates
    Select this option if you would like to have Weblogs.com list your journal when you post new public entries


  • Use image placeholders on your friends page
    Placeholders are useful if you are browsing at work or over a slow connection, replacing inline images with links.

Check them out!

Image placeholders! Wow! I love the LJ folks! That's incredibly nifty and incredibly needed, but incredibly hard to implement! Thank you kindly! ♥

You can specify custom dimensions using the administrative console with the command set maximagesize wwxhh, where ww is the maximum allowed image width in pixels and hh is the maximum allowed height.

It doesn't work for me. Instead of being able to choose what size images are blocked, it blocks ALL images. -_-

If the image doesn't have its size specified (<img src="http://" width=100 height=50>) it will block it. The majority of users don't specify the size of their images.
